Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Compliance

Mechanical Workshop respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We comply with the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and other applicable intellectual property laws.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible on our website, please provide our Copyright Agent with the following information in writing:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright that has been allegedly infringed;
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works;
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material;
  4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address;
  5. A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  6. A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information in the notification is accurate and that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that your material has been removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our Copyright Agent. The counter-notification must include:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the subscriber;
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled;
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that the subscriber has a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled;
  4. The subscriber's name, address, telephone number, and email address;
  5. A statement that the subscriber consents to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which the subscriber's address is located, or if the subscriber's address is outside the United States, for any judicial district in which Mechanical Workshop may be found, and that the subscriber will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of the alleged infringement or an agent of such person.

Repeat Infringer Policy

Mechanical Workshop has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users who are repeat infringers of the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of Mechanical Workshop or others.

Copyright Policy

All content on Mechanical Workshop, including but not limited to articles, images, videos, and other materials, is protected by copyright law unless otherwise indicated. Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without the express written permission of the copyright owner.

Users who submit content to Mechanical Workshop retain ownership of their original content but grant Mechanical Workshop a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display such content on our platform.
